Hanna Grands.....

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to make
pictures of mine and Curt's three kids and their sweet cousin Brantley.
Brantley is expecting a new sister in March, so I am sure the
photo sessions will continue after that little one is born.
Here are just a few shots from yesterday, some are better than others.
Aren't these the cutest little kids you have ever seen?

Overwhelmed Overjoyed

Have you ever been there,
in that place where the world is spinning
so fast and you don't know how you made it through the day?

You wake up with the
same expression as the day before
Restless and exhausted all at the same time.

Stop, breathe, take a look around
Blessed is what you are
tired yes, but blessed beyond measure

Little hands, little socks
snuggles and snotty noses

Security, commitment, and love
overwhelmed, overjoyed!

Just a thought....

I encourage each of you, no matter where you serve in your local church....please pray for your pastor! Pastor's struggle with many things that some of us will never be able to comprehend, so take some time today to lift your pastor up in prayer. Here is a blog post from Perry Noble on more specific ways you can pray for your church leaders and pastors.

Twilight, Yes I am a Dork

I am a die hard Twilight Saga fan, shocker, I know right? I have read the books 4 times and when Twilight came out last year, I was number 4 in line at the theatre and then I went back and saw it 5 more times before it came out on DVD in March. So, like all you Twilight fans, I was pretty pumped about New Moon. A group of my friends and I had a pre New Moon party complete with Twilight and pizza. We then went to the theatre and waited in line from 9:30-11:30 to make sure we got the best seats in the house when New Moon made its movie premiere at midnight. I thought Twilight was pretty good, but New Moon was so much better. Edward and Bella's acting was outstanding, Edward had me in tears when he had to leave Bella. I am 100% Team Edward, but Jacob was awesome too. I was shocked that he wasn't portrayed as more of a jerk though. I was planning on seeing it again tonight but it is sold out. Hopefully over Thanksgiving I will have a chance to see it again. Love the characters, love the story of good versus evil and bad guy or good guy. It gets me every time!!!

I love football

If you were at Oasis Sunday or if you have listened to the podcast, you will hear Curt talk about what a football fanatic I am. I don't love all football, just Tiger football! I was born and bred to love Clemson football and yes....my blood runs orange! We went to tailgate at Saturdays big game against FSU and we had a great time. Here are a few of the pics from the day! Gooooo Tigers!

The least one

My little girl is now 2 and it seems like only yesterday I was being rolled into to have my c-section, praying that she would really be a little girl. I was a little unsure that we would ever have a girl in our house, but when I heard her first cry I knew she had stolen my heart. Oh yes, she is spoiled rotten by everyone. She has a tight hold on her father's heart and I'm sure she will break it 100 times before she turns 3. She is a treasure that each person in our house finds amazing. Her smile, her laugh, the crinkle in her nose when she pouts.....precious! Happy birthday to my little one.......I am madly in love with you but please don't grow up too fast!

The past 3 months

Since the summer I have found myself on sabbatical from the blogging world. The only blog I have really read has been my husbands, and his are always so great! I have felt the need for privacy and just some time to breathe. Living in a fish bowl is hard to do, but I am back now and ready to share this crazy journey of church planting with you all. For those of you who are interested, we are now on week 12 after launch. This past Sunday was probably the largest crowd since launch. I was overwhelmed and yet full of joy after leaving church because there was a time not to long ago when I was skeptical that God could even use me...us....all of us!!! I am completely in awe of how God is blessing our efforts as we work together toward one goal.....to lead others to Christ. Small groups have begun and they are awesome!!! Right now there are three different groups meeting on two different nights, email the church if you are interested in getting involved. So, until next time....adios!
